Hannah and Charloltte visit to Pavilion

Friday, October 20, 2006

we went on the stage and had the spotlight put on us, it was shiny. We looked at the crosses which show where the actors should stand, so that they wouldn't get burnt by fireworks.

We looked at the big curtains, all different colours. Big ropes to pull them up and down. I liked the rainbow curtain the best.

The dressing rooms were nice and big and even had showers in them. But we didn't see any of the costumes.

We had a go using the spotlights. They were heavy to move, but it was fun and it looked good up on the stage.

We were shown how the soundman can alter people's voices. One little boy from St Andrew's spoke into the microphone and sounded like a man. His voice was very deep.
